Chaos

Abstract diptych. For the left side, I took an existing tempera painting and washed it, then transferred the image onto a fresh piece of paper while still wet. The right side is a print created by placing paper into a sink full of discarded paint. The resulting print is sandy in texture, with an organic flow. Crossing lilac stripes visually join the two halves of the diptych. Splattered paint helps to balance out the piece.
